Far From Gruntled is where I vent my spleen about news and current events.  From pompous politicians and air-headed celebrities, to so-called experts and media malpractitioners, there are plenty of people who embarrass or undermine society with their bad behavior.  Excoriating them can be cathartic. Sometimes, it can even be instructive.

My background includes more than ten years of radio broadcasting and a national championship in collegiate debate.  I am interested in politics, religion, philosophy, and almost anything that can spark a good argument.  I am currently working on a graduate degree in communications.

The quotation that inspired the title of this blog is from the book The Code of the Woosters (1938) by British author and humorist P.G. Wodehouse.
